Process for Azure Site Recovery
Simplified & Effective: CSE-Powered Azure Site Recovery Process
Azure site recovery requires following a standard process that helps organizations face outages better. Therefore, we begin our Site Recovery Process with proper planning that considers Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) goals. Also, our recovery engineers leverage Azure Site Recovery Capacity Planner and Azure Site Recovery Deployment Planner to compute target environment requirements with your current environment. Next step, we prepare and configure the environment to ready it for the replication. Here, we begin with preparing the source that leverages VMware, Hyper-V VMs, AWS workload, Azure VMs, and physical servers. In this same phase, we set the base on the destination environment based on the environment we choose. The recovery requirements vary, so we also prepare storage and network account at this stage to enable and configure the replication. And then, we proceed towards creating validation for Failover and Failback instances. Here, our recovery engineers determine necessary whether or not there is a requirement for changes to execute a failover. Also, re-protecting the machines is critical in case important failover happens through a recovery plan. Lastly, the replication monitoring takes place that requires us to tweak replication settings or even scaling out the process servers to ensure alignment of RPO objectives.
