Not all projects are about innovation. Some are those that add a feather in our cap no matter what we deliver and how. It was typically a government project that involved a lot of roadblocks right from creating the first point of contact, to constant follow-ups. Though the task was simple, there were a lot of delays and quick decision-making involved. It was a project that required us to move the emails from their in-house servers to Office 365 on the cloud.
Clients were hosting their emails on in-house servers. They were looking to migrate it to Office 365 because they wanted to get the data on the cloud. Doing so would enable them to access data even while they are on the road – keeping data on mobile. A device-agnostic email data will have them saving a lot of physical space and enabled higher-level security.
How we applied this solution?
Most of the IT companies expect to finish a particular project within a few months of starting it, and some long ones may even take a year. But, what if we tell you that it took us 11 months to get this project opportunity.
Yes, the client being Florida Police Department, they had a lot of protocols to follow. Right from presenting the proposal to higher officials and getting the approvals, there were a lot of other stages. At one point, our team was unsure if CSE could be the project partners. But the team never gave up on their pursuits. It was our endeavors of constant follow-ups and nurturing the client’s requirements that bagged us this golden opportunity to work on creating a legacy.
They agreed after 11 months, and the reason was that our team was in touch with them throughout this time. Their team informed us that we were the only vendors who kept in touch with them, and this is the reason they chose us.
